Description
You are a part of a crew sent to explore distant planets and find valuable minerals. Your ship is heading back towards Earth, but suddenly the system wakes you all from hibernation. You soon find out that you are not alone on board Nemesis... In Nemesis, you take the role of a spaceship crew member — navigator, mechanic, medic, etc. — who is exploring the rooms on the Nemesis (a vehicle drawn and located randomly on the board) in order to complete your secret goal. However, all the players share the main goal: to return to Earth safely, avoiding or fighting various forms of alien life appearing on the ship each round. You must work together, but if a character dies, they are not eliminated from the game; instead they join the alien side and start playing against the rest of the team. The game combines cooperation with bluffing, backstabbing, and other elements of an science-fiction survival horror adventure.

The first designer board game I ever played and one of the best. A fine bottle of crimson red wine to be broken out on special occasions. Tense, thematic and haunting, every match leaving me with some wild tale or another to regail my friends with. A must for any fans of Alien (1979).

Best for 4 players. Co-op One of the most immersive TRPGs. Many player options, great balance, always creates player-driven drama. High thinking difficulty. The setup can take a while. The players can permanently die, so cooperation is recommended.

Can't stop playing this game. It's so addictive and creates a new story every playthrough. Quality, as always with Awaken Realms, is top tier with many options to expand and improve on the base game :-)

The game that brought me back into the boardgaming scene. If you love the movie Alien or are a big sci fi horror fan this is the boardgame to get. It‘s insanely replayable, offers tons of memorable moments and is always a blast when we play.
