Exactly the game I wanted when I was a kid playing games with my brother in a notebook. This plays like AoE and Civ but a bit simplified. I wish they had given the backgrounds on the boards and characters more texture so they properly look like they're drawn on paper of some kind. I've played twice and I love it. It's a fun 4x game in a quick window.

Accomplished something that is so very rare: An approachable, fun, and full 4X experience with a relatively short play time! So much charm, so many clever design decisions, and a lot of surprising variability. There are a few edge-case questions and the rulebook is just a tiny bit lacking in being comprehensive, but overall the flow of the game is easy to learn, allowing emergent strategies and tactical pivots to happen. If you like 4X, you’ll love this.
A refreshing experience that scratches my RTS and 4X video game itch in tabletop format. Lovely game!
Love the game. 1VP does make for a quick game and it’s still enjoyable. Definitely recommend playing 3VP+. It is advertised as a 1-4 player game, but my opinion is that the way they have written the solo mode it’s impossible to win. Not great for solo play.
Thoroughly impressed! 1 VP makes for an interesting challenge, but it really shines at 3VP+ IMHO. Easy to teach and understand, and the multiple ways of VP acquisition is implemented very well. May update as I get more plays, but as if now this is an excellent 4X game that scratches a particular itch not many of these games itch. An itch akin to the old strategy titles I played back in the day.
