PARKS: Nightfall Expansion

I can't imagine playing Parks without this expansion! Adds so much more thought to each move and action with the new tiles and tents. The new year cards are a huge breath of fresh air and easily replace the old ones. Only issue i find with the expansion is the emphasis on gear swapping for some tiles which most players won't use as why buy gear when you can visit a park.

Why I got/played this: I felt the original Parks end-game goals were lacking, I heard this fixed it. What I think: Must have expansion. The base game’s goal cards are so lackluster and this fixes that issue. The extra choices at campsites lead to some more interesting decisions.

Completes the game by fixing the end of game goal cards as well as bringing a whole lot of depth to the strategies and tactics. If you buy Parks, this expansion is a 100% must.

Does not detract from the base game at all and adds a few new interesting actions you can do, which just adds to the potential strategy. It also adds more Park cards with night time art that look really nice. Since getting this expansion, we have not felt the need to play without it.

Id consider this a mandatory expansion. It adds just enough wrinkles to make gameplay more interesting but isnt so hard to add that you couldnt add it when teaching new players. Its kinda a perfect addition, and I play with new players with this included due to how easily it flows into the game.
