A lot more enjoyable than I'd thought it would be. And it's a lot faster too! Has it's fair share of faults but it's fun and fast enough to play it again.

Might seem like an oddly high score for what is essentially a 6-7 game. But for me, this game has added nostalgia factors, as I have travelled to Jordan in 2017 and visited the ancient city of Petra. So for me, this game evokes those memories, and for that reason, I like it a great deal more than I should. It also feels super different to many other games and that makes every play enjoyable.

16/05/19: 3 player 1st play - finished a poor third but enjoyed it immensely. Looking forward to next play. 18/05/19: An excellent game:

This game works very well. Nice game mechanics, all neatly interwoven. As I had the chance to visit the real location, it was a must to buy it. I really like this little juwel of trading games, even there is not a smashing new idea behind it.

The only fiddly thing is the symbols on the merchant tiles and the player board, it takes some time to get used to combining wares and merchants. Otherwise, this is a fun racing game, and several strategies can be implemented by using the mini-markets.
