Description Description
Quick and tasty! In Pies, you have three rounds to collect combinations of fruit cards to make the tastiest pies. Every round, every player plays a card into the trick. Then, players draft from the cards played in descending order (highest card gets first dibs). If you're the last player to draft, you also get a plum card. Will you play high and snag a card you've been looking for? Or, will you try and aim low, bolstering your inventory of plums? Will your opponents allow either strategy? Special actions on specific cards further complicate the decisions! Make the most delicious pie mixes to win the game!

It has pies!!! And a dog!!! Got it for $3.14 and we made our own fun. Had an absolute blast! The game itself is fine enough, there is some thought that goes into each hand and if you want to protect yourself vs getting the ingredient you need vs stealing what you need from others. Pi tokens can also help mitigate a bad hand.

It's a fun trick-taking set-collection game. I don't think I like it much at three, it can become a 2 on 1 mean game that doesn't feel good. At 4 or 5 I enjoy it much more.

w/ wooden pie tokens Chris Wray 5.5, BGRamblings, BoardGameOmakase 7.0 Taylor https://boardgamegeek.com/video/436884/pies/taylors-trick-taking-table Steph Hodge 6.5 Gorgeous artwork. Updated Pi mal Pflaumen which I have played before. They didn't change much, but minor tweaks. I still like it about the same as I did, but my group didn't care for it. Perhaps not the card game I would choose to play but would play again. Don't Eat the Meeples Pies is a trick-taking game where players draft pie cards from the played cards in an effort to build point-scoring sets.
