Scores are very very tight so although getting stuff is easy you have to totally maximize each turn. Way more strategic than it let’s on after a single play- plus it is short for a strategic game at about an hour

Description
In 2070s, robots are widely used in the world. One day, a group of disposed robots suddenly recharge themselves and act without control! As the leading scientist in RobotTech, your Planet Defenders are called upon duty! Now, send your ROBOTS out to get them! In Planet Defenders, players pay Batteries to control the 3 Defenders. Move them among the Planets and collect Energies. Players may enhance their actions by spending Energies and/or Batteries to upgrade their Technology. They earn the Research Points (RP) by catching the Disposed Robots in outer space and by collecting Technology cards. When Robots from 2 different piles are depleted, complete the current round, so that all players have equal number of turns. The player with the highest RP wins.

A good one for a wider age range. Turns are quick and concept is not too complex.

Basically, humans built robots but kept improving them. They didn't want the old models anymore, so they shipped them to space to die (their batteries). But! 3 robots woke up and are now taking revenge by saving the other robots still in space. I know right!!!! ? The rules are simple as you are allowed to do 1 or 2 main actions and 1 extra action. That's it. But you are dependent on the other players, as we all move the same robots. But maybe you can't move the robot you want, then you need to think of a new plan ? or you don't have enough energy to perform any actions and you have to rest to gain energy ? I really enjoyed this game!! Really recommend!

Not sure why the rating of this game is as low as it is. We've been having a blast with this and a score of 7.5 in my opinion fits where this game actually is. It is a good game with some difficult choices.
