Explosive Potions is a family game where players create potions by dropping colored marbles. Draw a marble from the dispenser: if it hits other marbles of the same color, positive chain effects activate. Place marbles on potion-shaped vials to complete recipes. Dear students, it’s time for the final exams of the Potions class! The rules are always the same: take an Ingredient marble from the Dispenser and watch the others fall. Remember, though, that to win the Student of the Year Award, being quick won’t be enough: you’ll also need to brew the most valuable Potions!

A very complete game, where you have to make as many potions as possible. It's a great idea that the ingredients are little balls. At first it's difficult to understand all the potions and their actions, but once you understand it the game starts to pick up speed and it's a lot of fun. We play this game a lot as a family.
Super fun to play with kids, but has good strategy so fun with adults too! Love the marbles and trying to create chain reactions, but being strategic to fill certain potions. I have the edition with the plastic marble tray.
Another favorite game of ours. The 6h student expansion is absolutely horrendous but the 5th ingredient expansion is great. Never played with someone who didn't love it.
TOP 10 Really needs an insert. Great base game and great expansion and promos. Expansions and promos are more-good-stuff by type and don’t add unnecessary complexity. It’s easy to opt out of using the cauldron and white marbles if I don’t want to. There is no need to cull cards from deck or some such.
Very addicting! I keep playing the app on my phone, but the feeling of the marbles and the clink they make when they hit each other can't be beat! Surprising amount of depth for such a "gimmicky" game while simultaneously not taking a tremendous amount of brain energy. Fantastic game.
