Easily my favorite game. It’s great fun, easy to learn, and the theme is fantastic. Six player game that plays extremely well as a two player game.

Played with the expansion once and couldn't really decide if I liked it or not. The "Bolster" cards seem interesting for allowing players to get an extra action and the addition of the French and the Chinese was interesting but it did feel like the Axis got a big advantage in that game but as it was just one game to base this on I can't say too much about how it affected the balance. I also really like the Air Power cards as then it makes the whole "tit for tat" nature of battles more interesting.
Good addition of the air element, which adds another layer to strategy. Good introduction of France and China to balance out the early Axis runaway train. The downside of the expanded card deck though (even with the new discard rule) is that economic warfare is not a painful as it once was though. And even the Axis players don’t have to worry about running out of cards in most games.
This expansion adds a lot of cards to the original setup and gives you more depth on strategy for each country. The addition of France and China gives it a real historical flavor but does give the Allies a distinct advantage so the Axis must get aggressive or fall behind early. A must buy for the WW2 fan.
A great expansion that increases variety and makes the Axis game less dependent on initial draw whilst at the same time putting some more time pressure on. I would probably never play without it with experienced player, but for quick casual games the base game is still fantastic.
