The perfect zen game: a clever enough puzzle to keep the brain ticking over while light and breezy enough to be played under any circumstances. The components are great, it looks nice, a finished game has a pleasing aesthetic and it's a lovely solo time killer to boot. I'll probably never tire of it.

Railroad Ink: Deep Blue Edition
Order by 15:00 Italian time for same-day dispatch, Monday to Friday.
Delivery in Italy normally takes 1 business day, 2 for the islands.
In Railroad Ink: Deep Blue Edition, roll the dice to determine the available roads and railway routes. Draw the routes on your board and connect as many cities as possible. The more cities you connect, the more points you score, but beware of incomplete routes that will cost you points. An engaging strategy game for 2-6 players, lasting about 20 minutes, suitable for ages 8 and up.
The game game is in consignmentStock but only few copies are available
The more exits you connect, the more points you score at the end of the game, but you lose points for each incomplete route, so plan carefully! Will you press your luck and try to stretch your transportation network to the next exit, or will you play it safe and start a new, simpler to manage route?
Railroad Ink™ comes in two versions, each one including two expansions with additional dice sets that add new special rules to your games. The Deep Blue Edition includes the Rivers and Lakes expansions. Increase the difficulty by adding the River route into the mix, or use the Lakes to connect your networks by ferry. These special rules can spice up things and make each game play and feel different. Each box allows you to play from 1 to 6 players, and if you combine more boxes, you can play with up to 12 players (or more). The only limit to the number of players is the number of boards you have!

From all of the roll/flip and write games I have played this is the real standout. If it didn't have the expansions in the box it would be a good game. Those four extra dice elevate it into something special. Due to the ease of play this may be the boardgame I have played the most games of.
My first game of my reintroduction to board games. I loved it when I played it, however now that I've been exposed to a wider variety of games, I'd have to play again to see if I'd still give it a 10 rating.
I do wish the game boards were a little bigger bc they can get messy and hard to read. Dry-erase is not the best option because it smears, the eraser gets gummed up, and the tip gets fuzzy over time. I swapped out the dry-erase markers for wet-erase; it's both easier to read and cleans up nicer (the dry erase turns the boards grey after a while, needed to clean with rubbing alcohol regularly). I plan to scan and embiggen the game board and laminate them for accessibility and re-use. Also might make some tweaks to the 'cheat sheet' to account for expansions.
Amazing little box of fun, whether playing solo or with others its a neat puzzle and a nice compact package. The addition of the river and lake dice also allows for spicing up of the game when playing a few games consecutively or when seeking a more complex puzzle.
