Although I have chained the parties, I am not tired. I've played with cards without illustrations and I loved this game. So with the beautiful illustrations of Naïade, it's great !

Shinobi WAT-AAH! is a tactical game set in the Moon Empire, where power-hungry nobles clash using ninja clans to conquer the imperial throne. Fight strategically for 2-4 players, ages 10 and up, in games lasting about 30 minutes. Join the Shinobi warriors and dominate the battlefield.

The Empire of the Moon faces many threats. The Rift has reopened, providing passage for the creatures that have lurked in Shadow for millennia. But the danger also comes from within as the Emperor, son of the Moon, is getting old, and his formerly loyal lords are now trying to seize power. In order to do this, they make their appeal to the warriors known as ninjas, adepts of the way of Shinobi. The clans are finally prepared for war!
As a lord with a thirst for power, in Shinobi WAT-AAH! you plan to place your honorable posterior on the imperial throne. In order to do this, you will appeal to the large clans of ninjas, who will enable you to impose your military strength upon your enemies. To put it simply, your goal is to put a big WAT-AAH! in your enemies' faces!
Shinobi WAT-AAH! includes two game modes:
As a lord with a thirst for power, in Shinobi WAT-AAH! you plan to place your honorable posterior on the imperial throne. In order to do this, you will appeal to the large clans of ninjas, who will enable you to impose your military strength upon your enemies. To put it simply, your goal is to put a big WAT-AAH! in your enemies' faces!
Shinobi WAT-AAH! includes two game modes:
- Grasshopper Mode lets you get started right away in the art of Shinobi with short games.
- Grand Master Mode trains you over the course of three rounds, leading up to a most surprising final confrontation!

One of my favourite game edited in 2014, it's really fun and allow to fight with ninja clans between friends or family. The rules are very easy to understand and we can play to the game very quickly. The two game mode are very cool and permit to vary the game pleasures. The grand master mode add a very sympathetic phase of bet when you put some tokens on the game board. We have played several times to the game and we're not tired of it, it's a very replayable game and you don't stop after just a single game, everybody around the table wants to take his revenge ^^ Really fun and cool game with magnificent illustrations. Can't wait to get the extension !!

In my opinion, the best multiplayer card game (the grasshopper mode). A relatively light and simple set-collection game with a lot of player interaction and cool special powers. I've actually never tried to play the advanced mode with the board, only the deck of cards and a lot of fun. Not very good as a 2p game though.

Great components and absolutely stunning artwork! Grasshopper mode lets the players get the hang of the game, and Grandmaster mode provides a larger level of play. A simple concept that has a funny theme. There are many ways to play the clans, however, some are a lot more useful than others. Best with 4 players.
