The set's four factions are playfully inspired by your favorite franchises: Astroknights (Star Wars parody), Changerbots (Transformers parody), Star Roamers (Star Trek parody), and Ignobles (Game of Thrones parody). As always with Smash Up, freely combine factions with all other sets in the franchise to create unlimited strategies and unique combinations.

Smash Up is one of my all time favorite games. I love the endless variability each new expansion ads. Love the silliness. Love figuring out how to make each randomly selected pair of decks work with each other. My only complaint is the cards are getting harder to read as my eyes age. I wish gamers designers would consider readability for older adults and vision impaired.

Another good set for Smash Up!, very well themed factions; the power level is high for some of them and they all play well, each with new and interesting mechanics (I like Ignobles most of all, fitting very well the theme). Unfortunately there are some flaws, represented - as often happens in Smash Up! - by general balance: Ignobles are underpowered in my opinion, while Star Roamers are a bit too strong. Some tweaks are needed to rebalance them.

The artwork, language, and concepts are overall perfectly suited for the theme and hilariously rendered. The Ignobles are by far the trickiest faction I have ever utilized, but can and been instrumental in winning. Overall a great advanced edition.
