Description
Tea Garden is a game of talented debuting designer Tomáš Holek, who is also working on his designs for the biggest Czech publishers. The key elements of the game are deck-building and worker-placement, Maybe the most intriguing is the resource management part though. In Tea Garden, you will pay with tea leaves. Those can be either green or black (fermented) – the value of green leaves decreases each round, but the value of black leaves increases. But you can’t gain black leaves directly, you can just change the green leaves to the black leaves. This simple mechanism is vital to the unique dynamics of the game that it’s so easy to fall for.

Heute zum ersten Mal gespielt und ich bin begeistert. Das Thema, die Optik und das Material sind sehr ansprechend. Die Mischung der verschiedenen Spielmechaniken gefällt mir so gut, dass Tea Garden eins der höchst bewerteten Spiele bei mir ist. Ich möchte es unbedingt nochmal spielen.
Great game. Enjoyed it with the mechanics and building from little to a great tea company. This is now my go to Tea Theme game.
Great game. The card order makes for an excellent decision space. Ivam not so fond of 2+ hour long games myself otherwise itbwould be a 10
Fantastic euro game! Lovely theme, great card-action mechanic (that i havent seen before) paired with outstanding artwork. Just the right mix between a crunchy and relaxing/cozy game experience for me.
A nice combination of deck building and resource management. Lots of scoring paths - do you try to get high scoring cards in your deck, get points through trading with caravans, try to maximize the scroll actions, or score points with the cup tiles?
