Description
The Thard, the second longest river in Hârn, has dominated the economic and cultural history of the western region of the island for centuries. Its slow and winding course has created a fertile alluvial valley that served as the cradle for several Harnic civilizations: Coranan, Shiran, and Golotha all arose on its banks. Today the river is one of the major trade routes between the Thard Republic and the kingdoms of Kanday and Rethem.
The supplement covers the history and economic importance of the river route, what travelers can expect along each stretch of the journey, and the basics of river commerce, with interesting characters that player characters might meet, including the crew of a typical riverboat merchant. Supplement compatible with other Columbia Games products such as Shiran, Coranan, Golotha, and Pilots' Almanac.
