I was so hyped for this game that I even got worried there is no change it will meet my expectations, and then I got it read most of the rule book and played for the first time with my friend group(4p)... It was awesome... Each part: the ability to catch up, because the advantage of being the last player, the perfect sprinkle of predictability, the feeling of awesomeness when you use basically any ability and of course the Art is superb. Can't wait to play more of it as soon as possible.

I’ve only played at 2 player and this is one of my favorite games ever. Super tense and varied gameplay. Going second in the later rounds feels very powerful, you need to play around it. I think this games complexity rating is lower than it is here. You can learn this game well in like 30 minutes, it flows really well once you get into it.
Stunning art. Clever interaction that is both random and chaotic but gives you plenty of tools to subvert that and pull of clever plays and combos. It is quite heavy and hard to fully grasp the strategy during players first games, but on repeat plays it really shines!
This maybe one of my top five games right now. It is pretty, well designed, and satisfying. I will also say it likely is the meanest game I own, which can be a good thing and bad thing. This game will make you mad at someone but if you can deal with that you'll be fine. I cant go on enough about how much fun my plays of this game has been so far and how clever I see people make something work or a synergy I would'nt have made. It rewards creative thinking and combos. Something I think board gaming lacks. Usually we are are on rails, so for a game to reward thinking outside the box, even a little. I am all for it.
Been playing on TTS as physical copy is hard to come by. Right up my alley. A ton of player interaction, tense moments and memorable gameplay. The teach is not as bad as some people complain. Following the step by step on what to do during each season got my group together fine on our first time. Much easier teach than say, for example, Brass Birmingham.
