impressions at 2P: This is right up my alley. I didn't get it earlier because I thought it was mostly an easier Tekhenu (which I adore as well). And in a way that was not completely wrong - there are certainly some great ideas being recycled - but it comes with its own touch. Of course, it is a dry euro not telling a story with a completely interchangeable theme, but when you are seeking the lust of beige euro game sins then you should certainly try it. Update after 6 plays: Does everything one might hope for, so can't justify not rating this a 10.

- 21 cards (63.0mmx88.0mm)
You will travel to various cities to acquire trade contracts for wool and iron, as well as a collection of their coats of arms. You must collect the required resources to fulfill contracts, invest in the construction of monumental cathedrals, gain the favor of noble families, and participate in important fairs where your main business occurs. You will also use the services of notable people who will be welcomed into your houses. You will thus gain prestige that will make you the most famous merchant of the Renaissance.
Tiletum is a dice management game in which dice have a dual function: gaining resources and performing actions. A certain number of dice will be rolled each round. On your turn, choose a die to gain the number of corresponding resources equal to the value of the die, then perform the associated action. The power of the action is inversely proportional to the value of the die, so the fewer resources you gain, the more powerful the actions you take and vice versa.

One of those brilliant designs that the more you play it, the more beauty you'll find in this game. I like that it has simple rules but it is wonderfully complex. Work of art by the italian duo!
Awesome! The Action Selection Rondel is absolutely genius!! So many decisions: I want to make the King Action, because the resource dice is what I need and I can go first next round, but the character action is now strong, next round weak. Can I use one other die, because I have 2 coins? Really fun! Good for two. Sweet spot is 3, a 4 player game with AP player can drag. The fairs are important, you have to read the map to be competitive. With Federation the best game of 2022. I could play it every day, because the variation makes it every time a different game. Don’t read, play it! Peak Game design ?
[7 plays] First play as 2 player and then a couple days later as a 4 player. I think I really like this game. It hits all my sweet spots for a Euro. I could go on and on in detail, but it's everything I want in a deep game with high variability play to play. No longer interested as a 4 player game, as the considerable add-on actions really add on to the downtime when trying to make the most of each turn. This is now exclusively a 2 or 3 player selection for me. Most recent plays Sept 2023
One of my top 10 games of all times. Great replay value. Very intuitive. Lots of great combos. The only thing I wish it had was a player aid (I made one for myself and there is another one someone else made for download here at BGG). This game manages to be "generous" and "tight" at the same time.
