As a Japanophile this was an easy set for me to love, but it is also exactly what I’ve come to expect from this fantastic line. Beautiful art, complex yet balanced interactions, and mechanisms that lend themselves to the hugely popular cooperative format. You gotta try this one for yourself!
This is my personal favorite 1v1 set of characters and both have a very tactical playstyle. Not easy though.
Another excellent 2 player box. Flanking and damage for leaving a zone are added mechanics.
One of my top UM boxes. The concept of two Japanese warriors really fires the imagination. Tomoe is a fierce and challenging fighter who is tough to beat, even with Oda’s two henchmen in the mix. Stay close to her and keep a sharp eye out for her brutal 7-value attack card.
Tomoe is one of my favourite heroes sadly Oda is not as fun and viable fighter. They are quite interesting matchup.
