Aside from chess this is the best abstract game I've ever played. Extremely varied and so many tactical decisions. This is an evergreen.

Description
War Chest is an all-new bag-building war game! At the start of the game, raise your banner call (drafting) several various units into your army, which you then use to capture key points on the board. To succeed in War Chest, you must successfully manage not only your armies on the battlefield, but those that are waiting to be deployed. Each round you draw three unit coins from your bag, then take turns using them to perform actions. Each coin shows a military unit on one side and can be used for one of several actions. The game ends when one player — or one team in the case of a four-player game — has placed all of their control markers. That player or team wins!

Played this hundreds and hundreds of times. Immense replay value, great components, fun and exciting every time. Great online community, too (on Discord).

Peak, 2-player games can be so special. This one will never get stale, I will always be down for War Chest when it's me and one other. Both Siege & Nobility expansion I consider to be necessary as they add even more variety with eight more units to draft from.

El mejor abstracto asimétrico que existe. Eso sí, tiene una curva de aprendizaje alta y premia mucho la experiencia, un jugador nuevo no tiene chances contra uno experimentado hasta no aprender varias cosas. Esto puede ser una característica buena o mala depende lo que busques del juego, para mi es buena porque le da muchísima profundidad y rejugabilidad.

Close to a abstract game but with immense variation with the different units. Can't really rate this game high enough. It really delivers. Be wary of many rule exception convolutions.
