In El Dorado, players slip into the roles of expedition leaders who have embarked on a search for the legendary land of gold in the dense jungles of South America. For me..... best boardgame ever. I play very often with friends (1-2 times a week). it never bores, everyone has other tactics and the finish is almost everytime close. I bought every game Expansions) twice so I can get creative with the board layout.

Elegant, accessible game for everyone to enjoy. Minimal and balanced deckbuilding with spatial interaction in the race to be first to El Dorado = perfection

For my tastes it's a perfect game that I can mess around with to create replayability and interesting showdowns. Has multiple ways to overcome and decently meaningful decisions.
