this is just a fantasic game- I will play this any time any one is interested in getting it to the table. at two player I find it difficult to get to the table myself because my main 2 player partner (my wife) does not like games that are about history

Is, was, and will remain my favorite game of all time. It's so perfect in all it does and what it achieves in some excellent mechanisms. I will like this the best of all for as long as I can like them all.

Excellent game all around. In a similar vein to Twilight Stuggle and similarly full of theme. Rulebook mostly flawless (GMT 2nd edition). It looked like Kennedy was running away after turning the west cost Blue, til the votes came in and Nixon squeaked in late on once the rust belt states went red, Louisiana declaring for Byrd over JFK and Michigan swinging in the last moment from blue to red. Top design. 4

My favorite heavy two player/GMT game of all time. Very tense, lots of strategic choices. The comparisons to Twilight Struggle are accurate, though I consider this one to be an improvement on TI’s design (to be fair, I’ve only played TI once). The main improvement is that crafty players can stop their opponent from playing event cards against them. One of my all time favorite games.

Great game of strategy. Even if politics isn't your thing, this game will keep you engaged the entire time as you struggle to keep up with your opponent or try and defend your lead. A good brain game.
