1960: The Making of the President puts players in the shoes of John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon, competing for the US presidency in the historic 1960 election. Through a card-driven system, the candidates face the major issues of the era: the Cold War, civil rights, the economy and the challenge of televised debates.
On the 1960 US electoral map, the two contenders compete for state votes using campaign points across different regions of the country, building consensus on the issues of the day and seeking to win public opinion through the media. A fast strategy game for two players, among the great classics of the political/wargame genre.
