Description
6...Le Prendi!, also known as 6 Nimmt! or Category 5, is a card game in which you have to carefully plan the order and time in which to play the cards in your hand in order to score as few points as possible. At the start of the game, 4 cards are placed face up that form the beginning of as many rows, then each player gets 10 cards in their hand. Each turn the players play 1 card from their hand at the same time, which is to be placed in the various rows according to the number indicated on them, increasing one of the initial 4 rows and thus forming a row of cards in ascending order.
The person who is forced to place the sixth card on any of the rows gets the previous 5, with the sixth card forming the start of a new row. A certain number of points is indicated on each card and after 10 rounds of play, the accumulated points are checked and whoever scores the fewest will be the winner!!!
Don't get mad! Each player receives 10 cards. The aim of the game is to cleverly place them in one of the 4 rows on the game board. There is only one small drawback: 6...you get them! Whoever places the sixth card in a row will in fact be obliged to take the first five, which correspond to penalty points.

Raised my rating after playing with 6. This needs a large group. Plus, this 4th play was the first time I got the 'everyone flips their card at once, lowest first' rule right. Raised rating again after 12th play. This will always be a favorite filler. Lots of groaning and laughing in this game.

Always a blast, very easy for casual players to get into, and if you have a group of 5-6 players, it starts being a (nice) chaos!

Oh, wow! Sure, it's a classic and I had high expectations, but it still managed to surpass them. I guess it's not considered a party game, but it's a perfect party game for me - good for your friends who want to just "pass the time" (and would normally force you to play something terrible that's barely a game) and good for you, The Discerning Gamer who craves meaningful decisions. Also, I knew it was great from the very first round - the pained groans of players unsure about their card selections are the gaming equivalent of Mozart's symphonies.

Take 5 is a very simple game for people of all ages. Although it can be played with 2-3 people I recommend playing between 4-7. Despite how simple it is its a lot of guessing for your friends will play.

CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
