Short rounds, yes, but literally every game I've played so far someone in the group has gone and gotten the game for themselves right after.

One of my top 10 surprises in the last few years. After a rules read, I was convinced the "tell me when to stop writing" mechanics were doomed to fail. Wrong. We had a blast, and even the constant hushing of nearby players couldn't stamp out our entertainment. Although the game plays well with 4, it's even better to seek out 6-8 and allow whispered/written conversations within teams. Like Codenames, PI's clue guessers need discussion and laughter to fully thrive. Let the spirits fly and have fun. We did.
