Great adition to the core game. I really enjoy the new rules, new scenarios (specially Pointe du Hoc and the beaches) and the campaign (still to try)
Again, its the extra units, and rule "changes" that led me to buy this expansion. The changes have become standard for us in every game we play, regardless of "expansion".
Started the campaign game and it seems falling behind is a bad thing since it is very hard for the other side to catch up. Will have to try some of the scenarios though.
Another homerun for the series. First play was Pegasus Bridge--German reinforcements narrowly prevented the Brits from winning the night. The scenarios are great, and there's an excellent campaign game included that's built with the RSG rules from Med. Just wrapped up the campaign game in which the Germans won in game seven. The Germans started out 3-0 then completely flopped for the next 3 scenarios. Lucky for me, the Allied surrender limit was only three in the last game. Minor criticism from my opponent: German artillery might be a little overpowered. Still, an excellent expansion to my favorite game system.
