Much better than Terrorscape. Everyone is still within the killer's reach, a great perk system providing a ton of replayability, a lot of content in the base game, short gameplay time, no downtime.

In Dead by Daylight: The Board Game, a team of four resourceful Survivors face off against a single supernatural Killer in a high-stakes game of cat-and-mouse.
As one of four Survivors, explore the trial grounds, discover props, and utilize your unique perks as you work to uncover and repair generators. Repair four generators and open the exit games to escape and win! As a Killer, hunt down the survivors, wound them, and place them on sacrificial hooks to summon a sinister force. With enough sacrifices, you are able to appease The Entity and win!
Each turn, players will plan their moves by secretly selecting paths on the board to move along. Each time a player moves, they will reveal new features of the board, called props, which they can interact with to further their objectives or to hinder their opponents.
Survivors are able to utilize many different props to aid in their survival and navigation of the trial. Killers can make use of fewer props—instead, they interact with the Survivors using their attack or their unique power. Each Killer has a different power that will completely change the way the game plays. Both Killers and Survivors have perks which grant them special abilities. Experienced players can customize their characters with various perk configurations, offering even more replayability.
The basic game comes with 7 Survivors, 6 Killers, and 2 maps. The Collector's edition includes 17 Survivors, 16 Killers, 4 maps, and additional miniatures to create the ultimate Dead by Daylight experience.

Longtime dbd pc game player. Outstanding adaptation of the game and very satisfied with it. Every game is close and keeps everyone at the edge of their seats. Strongly recommended.

Was skeptical at first but the game has since become one our family favorites to play. If you like painting miniatures that a huge plus. The killer is much harder to play but once you get the hang of it and learn to use the perks and when to use them the game gets much better. Have since purchased all the expansions and the mix of new killers and survivors and blood web cards to customize the game is great! 10/10

Can't recommend this game enough. Very good at 2,3 and 5. Components are very well designed. With 3k+ hours on the video game, I can tell that multiple aspects of the game are VERY WELL implemented into the game. It's hard to win as killer until the player in that role has a lot of experience. I recommend a SMALL house rule until then, if the players are able to power the door on the last round, you still play the killer's turn. If the killer reaches his wincon before the end of the game, he wins instead of the survivors. It will help smooth out the stats (because even with that small rule, we still had about only a 30% winrate on killer).

A licensed game that had no right to be as good as it is. It's a great translation from the video game to the tabletop, even with the obvious caveats it had to take. Works at all players counts 1-5 (fan-made solos are fun and easy and the "untested" 2-player version is a tense chess match of sorts).
