Description Description
Sand Runners are the remaining forces that were once sent to face Moloch at the very beginning... A bunch of nut-cases who lost their minds during that time. They’re loose cannons with a light approach to their life, but don’t let that fool you, they are persistent. Some may think - well, but that’s all? The very moment people believe that they know everything there is to know about them, the most bizarre things happen... things that are unexplainable... The main advantage of this army is its ability to turn off the fundamental board space during the Battle with the use of Sandstorm. Some Sand Runner Warriors have Features like Modules which helps them support each other during Battles. Additionally, the HQ is double-sided, which allows it to eliminate a single, slower threat before it attacks. Their disadvantage is their low starting initiative, and the fact that an unfortunate change of the HQ side may result in the inability to kill adjacent units during the Battle.

Seems to be a fun new army (2019) with a reasonable not too weird/crazy new power; its rules are simple and quick to learn and start playing! Starting a battle with a sandstorm (to make one hex neither affect nor be affected by the battle) is an interesting fun twist. E.g. if your opponent gets venom on your HQ early in the game, you can start battles while sandstorming your HQ to protect it from venom hits. We like when armies have both a Polish and an English rulesheet, like this one does (in the version we have). Yay! Since I like paprika/barbecue potato chips, I sincerely like the orange ripple dune background art on the tiles, apparently unlike many people. :)

Ejército sencillo con una mecánica bastante buena que se mezcla bien con los demás ejércitos de Neuroshima Hex. visualmente no usó colores muy agradables pero no son horribles

Strong army (Sandstorms are just killers). But a bit prone to a bad draw. Quicksands do not seem so fantastic, though. Too situational.

After a few plays, this has the feel of a new classic army, one with a bizarro vibe and play style. Sandstorms and Quicksands are like sudden blackouts and voids that interrupt the normal functioning of the board, like a freak accident or a ghost clogging up the mechanism. What makes them good is that they're fully intuitive to use. A great rival for Sharrash. Art direction feels a little confused, but I guess this army doesn't have to make sense.
